Almost time for summer!!! In a family with two teachers as parents and a rambunctious, energetic almost nine-year-old, you can only imagine how excited we are to begin summer vacation. However, that always presents a challenge: lots of time, but not a lot of disposable cash. And with the current state of the economy, we realize other families are in similar situations.
But quality family time should not require lots of money. What is required for quality family time? Excitement, inspiration, fun. Therefore, I am a mom embarking on this challenge to look for family fun with freedom from financial constraints. I hope through hearing our family's ideas, you will be inspired to embark on a quest for more quality family time regardless of your income and the economy.
ya'll need to take him to Dan nicholas park. He would enjoy it and it is extremely cheap to do activities there.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely to be added to my list of things to do. Thank you for reminding me about that park...I had almost forgotten! Maybe you can meet us there?
ReplyDeleteYou need to walk Pilot Mountain...take the dog too. Jordan walks it all the time and her dog loves it. Pack a picnic lunch...
ReplyDeletePilot Mtn. is on the list of things to do! We visited it a couple of years ago and it was a wonderful day. Took lots of pictures, too. I think we'll take Cinnamon along for the hike this year.
